Growing fast. Always looking for good people.

The Asunción Times is growing. Register your interest.

We are not always hiring. But we are always interested in exceptional people. The Asunción Times runs regular intern programmes and hires outside of them when the right person comes along. Registering your interest takes two minutes and costs nothing. We review all registrations. When a relevant opportunity opens, we go to our register first.

A media brand with real international reach

The Asunción Times is Paraguay's original English-language newspaper. We publish content, run events, manage social communities, and work with Paraguayan and international businesses who want to reach our audience. Our team covers content creation, journalism, photography, events management, commercial development, and more.

We operate in English. Some roles require Spanish. All roles require genuine enthusiasm for Paraguay and the community we serve.

People who care about quality

We do not hire to fill seats. Every person who joins The Asunción Times team is expected to care about the quality of what we produce and the reputation of the brand they are representing.

We are particularly interested in people with backgrounds or skills in journalism and writing, photography and visual content, social media and community management, events coordination, and commercial or sales roles. But we are not limited to those areas — if you are talented, motivated, and interested in what we do, tell us about yourself.

Fluency in English is essential for most roles. Bilingual candidates — English and Spanish — are particularly welcome.

Working positions, not administrative placements

We run intern programmes regularly throughout the year. Internships at The Asunción Times are working positions — not administrative placements. Interns contribute to real projects, work alongside the full team, and leave with practical experience on a brand that is genuinely respected internationally.

If you are a student or recent graduate interested in media, journalism, communications, or events, register your interest and note that you are looking for an internship. We will be in touch when the next programme opens.

Register your interest

Tell us who you are, what you do well, and why The Asunción Times interests you. There is no open application process — just a register of people we know about and want to keep in mind.
